Balinese Purification "Melukat" in Secret Water Temple
You’ll hear the water before you see it — flowing from sacred fountains in the heart of the jungle. A local priest lights incense. You step into the pool. Time slows down. You breathe.

Experience Highlights
Balinese Cleansing through Water Purification Ceremony
You’ll be welcomed by Tiwi or a member of her family, all of whom have grown up with these rituals and know their meaning by heart. Before entering the temple, your guide will explain the Melukat — the Balinese water purification ceremony — step by step.
Then, you’ll head to a hidden jungle temple, a sacred space still used by locals for real spiritual cleansing.
At the entrance, you’ll receive your sarong and offerings, before being led through the ritual by a local priest. Incense fills the air. The sound of water grows louder.
You’ll pass through each fountain with intention — letting the water wash over your head, your heart, your body. This is not a performance. It’s a quiet moment to release what you’re ready to let go of.
The ceremony ends with a blessing and a moment to sit, breathe, and return slowly to yourself.
Simple, sacred, unforgettable.
